THE DOORS PERCEPTION (Rarities 1965-1967) Japan Music CD

●A collection of valuable studio and live recordings of The Doors.
●Includes improved sound quality sound sources from the 1960s, which are being excavated.
The Doors suddenly made their debut hit in 1967 with legendary vocalist Jim Morrison's philosophical and literary lyrics and pop songs with a jazz flavor, and became a rock band that embodies the counterculture.
Jim, who loved rebellion, anarchy, and drugs, was active for just four years until he lost his life in Paris in 1971 along with gossip.
This CD is a collection of sound sources from the demo sound immediately after the band was formed, to rare sound sources immediately after the band's debut, and from the time when they were truly mavericks and were spreading their miasma through major releases.
■World Pacific Demo 1965 Demo recording in 1965 before debut.
Although it has been released in fragments officially, all 6 songs are completely covered here.
Even before Robbie Krieger (guitar) joined the band, Jim Morrison's character and personality had already been completed in ``End of the Night'' and ``Summer Is Gone'', and it had already become the Doors sound.
I am.
I'm surprised that they even wrote "Hello I Love You," which reached number one in the US in 1968.
■Elektra Session 1966 In the summer of 1966, he signed a contract with Elektra and began recording his debut album.
Here are 3 unreleased takes from the first day's take.
"Moonlight Drive" is an early version that also features vocals by Ray Manzarek (KD).
The 1966 version of "Indian Summer," sung languidly with only four lines of lyrics, is also beautiful.
■Avalon Ballroom 1967 Cisco's Avalon Ballroom, a sacred place for hippie culture, recorded from tapes stored in the warehouse of a local broadcasting station.
The heavy songs ``Backdoor Man'' and ``Who Do You Love?'', in which Jim plays a vulgar man, are also powerful.
This is probably the earliest live performance of "Illusionary World.
" ■TV SHOWS The first TV appearance of "The End," which became a legendary song representing rock in the 1967s, and the Ed Sullivan Show, where Jim refused to correct the lyrics at the last minute during a live broadcast, causing an incident.
Two songs from.
All of them can now be said to be historical live performances.
The jacket of this CD is an outtake photo of the band's debut album, which combines the members with a brick-like wall, based on the idea of William S.
Harvey, who also designed the Elektra Records and Doors logos.
