Provenance:

Part of an extensive collection which was created over many years by the reputed solicitor Clifford Harris and his wife Cecilia - friends of the artist and his wife, who adorned their North London home with Matta’s works. There are several personal cards, postcards, dedications and notes from Roberto and Germana to Clifford and Cecile[sic], testament to their strong friendship over the decades which continued after Roberto died in November 2002.

Germana Ferrari Matta 1936-2019 was Matta’s second wife and undertook his cataloging and administration.

Roberto Matta (Chilean-Italian, 1911-2002) - we are listing a selection of seven Roberto Matta books, and a signed “eye” card. We do combine postage which is at cost.
