Paillard Bolex H16 REX Reflex 16mm Movie Camera w/ 1.8/25 Som Berthiot Lens [WH]

  • If you are viewing this on a phone, you may need to scroll down to the bottom of the written description and click on “see entire description” to see all the photos.
  • Vintage 16mm professional movie camera with lens.
  • Runs well at all speeds. Quieter than most I have seen. While the speed dial does not move to the “64” number aligning with the dot, it is certainly faster than the 32 fps.
  • S/N 168234 dating it to 1959.
  • The only thing missing I could find is the lever for turning the lens turret. Easy enough to simply use the lens. Note, I did find a cap for the open lens mount space shown in the photos.
  • Som Berthiot Lytar 1:1.8 25mm lens in C-Mount is in excellent condition. Aperture adjustment is smooth and blades are clean. Focusing is smooth. Glass shows no marks, damage or indications of fungus.
  • Camera has 3/8” tripod thread, I added a removable 1/4x20 adapter.
  • Note: This great camera is about 65 years old. Do not expect it to be in perfect condition.
  • Made in Switzerland

International shipments: Shipping costs Do not include any import taxes or fees charged in your country. NOTE: If your total order is more than $2,500 US you MUST have a shipping address in the United States, or be willing to break up the order so no single item is more than $2,500 US.

Refund Policy: Items that are not as described will result in a refund of the bid amount upon return of the item in the condition in which it was shipped.  This does not apply to finding a small scratch when the description says minor surface wear or similar issues.  If a package is damaged in transit, and if it was insured, the buyer must cooperate in filing the insurance claim (not a big deal).  The box and packing material must be kept and available for the post office if an item is insured and damaged in transit.  If an issue is not addressed in the description (I attempt to provide comprehensive descriptions) or if the bidder doesn’t understand the description and he or she did not ask a question about it, no refund will be made. Note: if the Post Office damages an item and still delivers it, it will refund only the bid amount and not the postage.  I will not make up the difference.
