About Me

Once upon a time, before the age of cell phones, Netflix, and even VCRs, my dad operated a charming consignment shop in a quaint New England town.

As a child, I eagerly anticipated each visit to the store, a treasure trove filled with unique items and the captivating stories of the customers who brought them in. Time moved forward, and my dad eventually retired, packing up the shop's contents and storing them away in the attic.

Fast-forward to the recent pandemic lockdown, I found myself with time on my hands and began unearthing those long-forgotten surprise boxes, instantly transported back to the wonder of that small-town consignment store.

With each box I unpack, a tidal wave of warm memories wash over me - friends, neighbors, and simpler times. I even come across items adorned with original tags penned by my Aunt Helen, whose "chicken scratch" handwriting still leaves me puzzled.

Now, I'm delighted to share these hidden gems with the world so that others can find joy in them too!
