WWI Era US Army Pedersen Devise Magazine Pouch - Rock Island Arsenal 1919 - MINT Unissued Condition 

Up for Auction is a WWI Era US Army Pedersen Devise Canavs Magazine Pouch.  The pouch is in MINT Unissued Condition.  It is marked RIA 1919.  This pouch was designed to hold the magazines for the Pedersen Devise.  Used with the US M1903 Mark I Springfield Rifle.  This devise was designed to convert the M1903 Rifle into a Sub Machine Gun.  The project was ultimately canceled, when the Thompson SMG was adopted for use.  Most of these devises and their accessories were destroyed.  Making any existing accessories for it RARE.
