Up for bid are seeds of the Hardy Sugar Cane Grass.  It is a beautiful perennial grass that is very fast growing.  The plant grows up to 12 feet tall gets unique graceful seed heads in late summer to fall and great green foliage all summer.  This species does not produce the edible sugar cane used in commerce, but these are still very ornamental and beautiful plants.  Hardy Sugar Cane is typically hardy to zone 6.  These beautiful plants grow best in full sun to part shade.  They would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
