• Description: Red Cascade is a tough, resilient Own Root Rose with fine, delicate, thorny vine-like runners, and small pointed leaves that grow dense and tight to the stem.
  
  It is a well behaved, small growing mini climber and perpetual bloomer that produces profuse clusters of pretty thumb red sized double flowers year-round, grows well on its own roots, and is very disease resistant and self-curing. Primary caution is not to overwater, and to prune for shape after flowering.
  
  Small stature means this little rose is easily trained to a trellis, espalier, or other shape and works well in small spaces where other more aggressive growing climbers would be problematic, and can also be used a ground cover.
  
  This old rose has been sold under several common names over the years including Tom Thumb, Thumbelina, Sweetheart Rose, and The Gainesville Rose.. Red Cascade is the registered name. The rose was hybridized by Ralph Moore and registered in 1976. It is a seedling cross from ( Rosa wichuriana x Floradora) x Magic Dragon.
  
  In addition to being tough, resilient, easy to grow, Red Cascade will tolerate almost any soil type that drains well and will grow and thrive across a wide climate range from USDA Zones 5 to 10.

We strongly recommend adding a heat pack and upgrading shipping when plants must travel into or thru temps below 32*F (0*C).  Selecting the upgrade option at checkout will include a heat pack if needed, or the option may be purchased separately at Item #364064105096. Please contact us if you need help to decide.  We are happy to refund if you purchase a heat pack that isn't necessary.

*Warranty Limitations, Conditions, and Exclusions:  Claims under this warranty must be received within 24 hours of delivery before plants are planted and accompanied by photos of the plant and packaging.   Delivery to an incorrect or undeliverable address is excluded from this Warranty.  Plants purchased for resale and/or drop shipped without our knowledge and permission are specifically excluded. 

Failure to provide timely notice or proceeding with planting before providing notice voids this Warranty. Remedy under this warranty is strictly limited to either replacement or refund of the purchase price at our discretion. A full-text detailed copy of our Warranty is included in the package and also available on request.

Returns cannot be accepted due to Agricultural Regulations.
