THE CHESS STATE-  1972 Reykjavik Championship Series Chessmen. The Chessmen feature a 3.7″ King with a 1.7″ Diameter base and are heavily weighted. This is the most loved classic Staunton design.

All the pieces are hand carved and it takes our expert carver  upto 2 weeks to finish a full set and sometimes even more so we maintain a regular stock of all our items. All the pieces are weighted with individual metal studs inserted at the bottom to make them ideal for good balance and speed play.
