Fabric is a a light weight nylon chiffon with machine embroidered flowers. There is a second layer of solid nylon acetate. The bottom inside hem of the inner lining has a black nylon netting that is edged in red.

Condition.

This skirt/ slip is in very good condition. I do not see any loose embroidery. No tears or holes. It has been gently worn.

What Diane Likes About This Skirt or Slip or Crinoline

I debated where to list this piece. It can be worn very easily as a skirt. But, if you research Sydney Bush, you will see that she is a lingerie designer, particularly, slips. It was the waist band, the zipper and hook closure that made me choose skirt. This would make a great crinoline, especially with the red edging. It gives the sweet floral pattern an edge of exotic danger. You can swirl the skirt and get a sumptuous glimpse of that red edge.  It has the soft chiffon frothiness of a crinoline. This would look awesome under a black circle skirt dress. But, it would be a shame to miss out on all this embroidered loveliness. So, in the end, you can choose how you want to wear this. One day as a crinoline and the next as a skirt.
