How to know if you have a 48RE:
1.The 8th Digit of the VIN is the letter "C" .
2.Check the build label ( usual in the glove box ) for code DG8.
3.No modifications needed, all original internal factory parts will fit this HD housing
4.We also include a new output bearing snap ring because the old one is usually worn out.
5.Output seal & snap ring will be installed before we ship.
