Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a great vintage wall hanging expansion light fixture.  Circa '50s.  The fiberglass shade is conical in shape.  It is beige in color with random gold filaments throughout.  There are also leaves and a butterfly embedded into the surface (see photos).  The shade attaches to an upright rod, which in turn is attached to an arm the can expand and retract (up to 30").  The fixture has a brass wall plate with 4 holes in it for screws to hang it in place.  The light fixture has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket, and it is used to turn the fixture on/off.  We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no tags or labels present. Measurements: The fiberglass cone shade measures approx. 6.25" tall x 5" in diameter. The metal expansion arm can stretch up to a maximum of 30".  The metal expansion component measures approx. 6.5" tall.  The metal wall bracket is also approx. 6.5" tall x 1.5" wide. Condition: Very good condition.  The shade is free from chips, cracks, breaks, stains, burns, repairs, etc. The metal expansion are shows some faint discoloration, but nothing that we'd deem a deal breaker.  It is free from rust, oxidation, bends, breaks, repairs, etc. It retracts in and out properly, and holds its position as it should. The shade pivots up/down and left/right at its attachment point. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and is in very good condition - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas to the wiring. The socket inside the conical shade could stand for a little tightening, but it works fine as it is. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order.
