I believe this lovely Carnival Glass Vase to be Fenton April Showers with Crimped Top but please look closely at the photographs and check that I have identified this correctly. Although fairly knowledgable, I'm not particularly expert on identifying or describing carnival glass.
Overall height is approximately 8¼" (21cm). Domed base is 3½" (9cm) in diameter. Overall diameter of top of vase is approximately 5" (12.5cm).
Looking at the base, the colour is dark green. The iridescence rising up the vase is a mixture of greens, blues, dark pink, and silver.
There is no physical damage that I can see but, to my mind, the lustre in parts of the crimps and around the base seems a little worn. I would suggest this has actually been used as a vase for flowers at some time in its life. Low price for this still lovely piece takes this condition into consideration.
