A modernized recreation of a guitar made for only year back in 1959. This Supro Tri Tone is a beautiful black axe that just has that "thing". There really isn't any other way to explain. There is a weight and a resonance behind it's tone that let's it settle in to the top of the mix, it can bit and growl just as well as it can back off, and it's got clarity that you just do not find in most guitars. Don't let the lack of a bigtime name on the headstock fool you, it is a serious contender.
