This is a mid grade item. It will have enough minor defects that it is in clearly worse condition than a brand new freshly published comic, magazine, or book. Allowed defects for this grade include: a spine split of less than half an inch, minor water spotting or other residue, impacted corners, and an accumulation or spine stresses that may break color. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor defects or one or two moderate defects.
Description
An advertising insert for the Menomonee Falls Gazette, the famed 1970s tabloid published by Street Enterprises that reprinted classic newspaper comic strips. The Gazette-Advertiser, like the Gazette itself, took the form of an old-time newspaper, promoting other publications from Street Enterprises, all of which focused on classic comic strips. This issue includes ads for Dan Barry's Flash Gordon and Alex Raymond's Rip Kirby, among others. NOTE: Was distributed to approx. 18,000 people. Standard news paper format, fold is not considered a defect. Circa 1975. All ads.
