This is a complete set of 12 charmingly-illustrated tales from the 1968 Educator Classic Library. These stories are complete and unabridged, but almost every page contains illustrated explanations of the text to help younger readers follow along.
The covers feature original paintings by Don Irwin and have a wonderful vintage look.
This book set is handsome enough to use to decorate a classic library, but would also be a marvelous homeschool or tutoring tool for young minds.
The books are sturdy with all pages securely bound and the inside pages are free from coloring or marking. The outside covers are in fairly good condition, with shelf wear along the tops and bottoms. Book 12 has some cracks along the spine, but this is just superficial, they don’t affect the binding. Book 9 has a water stain on the back cover, but it doesn’t seem to have affected the interior. Both of these are shown in detail in the photos.
