These fall flowering bulbs start blooming in early September here in Southeast PA. They are fabulous multipliers making impressive clumps in a few years. They transplant easily while blooming. The blooms are 6 to 12" tall, and the foliage gets a little taller than that and stays green all winter long and eventually disappears all together in the beginning of May. They mix in well with annuals that have been planted earlier, and they bloom for several weeks. I look forward to these flowers in September more than any other. They are bright yellow with attractive dark green foliage that comes first. These are hard to find, but will become a favorite. They grow well around rocks, and they do well in fairly dense shade, as the foliage matures long after trees have lost their leaves. I ship live plants. They ship very well. Please check out all the pictures, they are all from my yard and garden. Thanks for looking!
