Round shallow Japanese ikebana planter with embedded metal flower frog.  This piece is handmade, hand painted, and hand glazed.  It has a blue glaze center with beige herringbone pattern around parameter of the top.  The side is blue.  Made and signed by Georgetown Pottery and marked GP 00.  The double zeros is likely the year it was made, referring to the year 2000.  Wonderful to place your own real flower into the frog and give as a gift for housewarming, party, or picnic.  Simple yet beautiful.
