This first book is actually in amazing usable condition for its age...please note there are some pencil notes on several pages where he marks a number or highlights a number, just a few pages like that....2nd book...The Normal Mental Arithmetic....Cover reads...Brooks Mental Arithmetic and Philadelphia Sower, Potts & Co. by Edward Brooks, A. M., Revised Edition with a treatise on mental algebra. this books is dated 1869, same stereotyper...Sherman & Co., Printers. The book is complete, has a darkened cover, spine issues, some interior pages starting to pull away...pencil notes on many pages in the second half of the book (studies this book alot!!) Amazingly, it is still usable.
