EXQUISITE VINTAGE HAND PAINTED ROYAL DELFT VASE
Presenting an exquisite porcelain vase masterfully hand crafted at the Royal Delft / De Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles factory in 1960.
This perfectly proportioned vase has been spectacularly hand painted with a delight scene depicting an elegant peacock set amongst a variety of exotic flowers. The intricate scene is rendered in rich cobalt blue atop a delicate pale blue ground. Brushed bands of blue stylishly trim the rim and foot perfectly unifying the harmonious design.
SIZE: This delightful vase stands approx 150mm high x 70mm wide.
CONDITION: This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. There is some light and fine surface crazing which rather enhances the charm of this authentically vintage vessel. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
MARKS: This piece is beautifully signed to the base with a brushed blue Royal Delft mark along with the production date code "CE" for the year 1960.
