Hard-To-Find full-length LP from Tangerine titled "The Peeling Of Tangerine" released by Stephen Productions (SPST 001) in 1971. Original private pressing from Pittsburgh, PA area rock quartet. Short on length for a full album, Tangerine were not a prolific songwriting outfit but were more inclined to playing heavy acid rock jams with pounding drums and fuzz-drenched extended guitar soloing between the limited blue-eyed soul style vocals. Often gets compared to Banchee, Iron Butterfly and early Santana but has all the charm of an amateur produced hard psych effort that collectors seek out.
