All measure 7 1/4 x 4 3/4” and are bound in leather and marbled paper hard covers with gold spine lettering/ decoration, marbled page tips. Two with label inside front cover: ‘Circulating Library / Williams, Cheltenham, Bookseller’. Pencil notations inside front cover of each. Printed by James Ballantine and Co.

Covers are sturdy with moderate to heavy wear including 3” hinge crack to Vol II, hinges, edges corners spine ends worn with some chipping to spine ends, some corners worn through, and surface wear / soiling to marbled paper. Pages are firmly bound, neatly in place with light age and use wear.
