Eunice Prieto California Studio Art Pottery Vase Decorated Listed Artist Vintage

Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this hand thrown, decorated studio pottery vase by the well-known, listed potter, Eunice Prieto Damron. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This pot is made from a stoneware clay body, and it has interesting glazed decoration. It weighs approximately 1 pound 11.5 ounces, unpacked. This piece is approximately 5 3/4 inches tall, with a maximum diameter of about 4 15/16 inches. This would be a fabulous addition to a collection of vintage studio ceramics.

Identification
This vintage pot is incised beneath, "E. PRIETO." This piece is by Eunice Prieto Damron, a listed potter in the Vasefinder Museum. Per Vasefinder, Eunice Prieto Damron grew up in Spencerport, NY. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in ceramics from Alfred. Her graduate degree was from the California College of Arts and Crafts. She was married to Antonio Prieto and Cleo Damron. In the San Francisco Bay area, she taught at the California College of Arts, Mills College, and Laney College. Her works were widely exhibited at galleries and exhibitions.

Condition
This vase looks great overall, with no chips or cracks. It has very light wear. The interior has minor soiling and dust, which I have not cleaned. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.


Terms of Sale

1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Contact the seller before bidding or buying to find out about acceptable payment methods for local pickups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.

2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.

Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.

Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.

International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when the item is picked up; do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. 3. Other Information

The buyer agrees to indemnify and hold the seller harmless from and against any and all liabilities and expenses, of whatever kind or nature, arising from or related to the purchase, use, misuse, resale, or redistribution of the merchandise.
