Aero Antique Enamel Pocket Watch - Running  Spares or Repair

This is a worthy watch for a little TLC. The white enamel dial is signed 'Aero' and looks in good order subject to a clean. The blued steel hands are in good order too. The winds was smooth and the watch sets and runs OK. There may be an adjustment around the winding as the stem did pull out but went back in to continue to wind and set OK. As you can see, the bow is missing. There are some marks to the case where some 'genius' has tried to pry the case open rather than unscrew it. Looking at the inside of the case-back, it was a nickel chrome finish but as you can see it is worn. I've not attempted to clean it. It has run down completely for me and the time-keeping was OK but I can't guarantee it as it will need a service. The approximate diameter is 50mm
Thanks for looking, if you have any questions please ask.

My spares or repair items are sold as non-running & in need of attention. If it is running when I assess it  I report it to help potential buyers decide if it is good enough to service & use in the future. I cannot guarantee that it will continue to run as many of these movements have been stored for years & will be dirty, watch movements stored without cases can have unseen dirt which may stop the movement sooner than later. Please consider this when making a purchase.

Any vintage watches I sell that claim to be waterproof will no longer be guaranteed, this is a manufacturers warranty that will have expired years ago & on  many vintage watches an unreliable claim in the first place. I make no guarantees regarding a watch being water-tight.

I do describe to the best of my ability but I am not a watchmaker, I am a keen amateur watch fan. If for any reason you are unhappy with an order or think I made a mistake with my description, please do contact me rather than just leave bad feedback. I am happy to help whenever possible. Thanks.
