First edition, early likely second state printing of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain -- the three main points distinguishing a true first state printing have all been corrected in this edition, as well as the 'L' in 'Col' and the broken 'b' on line 11 are both corrected on page 143 -- however there is no signature '11' at the bottom of page 161, and the last '5' of page '155' was hand stamped with a slightly different font --

-- book is  hardcover and measures 7 by 8 5/8 in. --  -- fairly worn:  back cover is detached / bumped and worn corners / loss of gilding / fraying wear about the cover edges / fraying and creasing to the spine covering / faint inscription inside front cover // foxing especially about the frontispiece but also to some of the pages  -- two blank end papers front and back  --
