VG HC 1942 printing of a rare edition of a Walt Whitman collection, copyright 1926 Doubleday, Page & Company; black cloth covers and spine with beautiful gilt lettering and decorations on spine; light shelf wear; front sides of front and back fly pages have foxing (appears from papers that had once been placed in the book in those spots) but there is no sign of it anywhere else; pages are clean with no tears, stains, or markings; binding is tight and secure; very minimal tanning; an overall lovely copy of this edition/printing.
