Recommendations for installation: Your wooden shelf will always be strongest when attached directly to wall studs. Two studs will give you enough support. When the studs don't align perfectly with the bracket holes, use dry wall anchors, but at least have 1 stud near the center. If you have doubts about the weight load or installation, you may contact a qualified contractor. A lot of our customers that cannot install into studs have suggested using “Toggler Snaptoggle” anchors, they can be purchased at any home center. Sizes: Length is 24". Thickness is 1.5". Depth of shelves average around 7" but will range from 6.5 to 8" due to live edge variations. Please understand they are made from real wood. These wooden shelves may or may not have knots, cracks, and distress depending on slab. We carefully inspect that each shelf is structurally sound.
