Antique McKee Russian Diamond Amber Star Bowl 10-1/2 Daisy Button LG Wright

McKee & Bros - Russian Diamond; Daisy and Button - Star Shaped Serving Bowl - Amber - Antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) c. 1886 - Measurements: 10-1/2" outer diameter and 4" to the highest points. The bowl could be called a serving or master berry bowl depending on it's use. McKee introduced Russian Diamond in the 1880's. The pattern features the classic Daisy and Button design of overlapping rosettes and hexagon button with wide flat ribs. It's often confused with Hobbs, Brockunier & Co's Daisy and Button 101 pattern and a very similar design was produced for LG Wright in the 1940's and 50's. This bowl has a wonderful star shape and the rosettes align perfectly on the bottom with sides indicating it's an original antique piece.

Condition: Excellent condition.  There are no chips cracks or flea bites which is highly unusual.  Nice find!
