This Bypass will help keep unfiltered oil out of your engine by plugging off the oil bypass check valve. The factory bypass check valve can let unfiltered oil into your engines bearings and lifters. Our Billet Bypass  replaces the factory check valve preventing unfiltered oil from getting into the engine.

The factory bypass check valve is a safety in case the oil filter never gets changed and the filter gets restricted. Most oil filters already have a bypass built into them for this reason.  The factory check valve can open with oil pressure surges, letting unfiltered oil by and into the bearings.

Why would you ever let unfiltered oil into your expensive LS engine? Install one of our Bypass  the next time you change your oil filter. 

NOTE: Make sure your Bypass valve is located in the filter adapter housing like in the picture BEFORE ORDERING! Some are located inside the oil pan, this product will not work if your  is inside the oil pan.
