Vintage large antique 1800’s Porcelain Dial SOUTH BEND RAILROAD pocketwatch pocket watch in a ss case.  This early watch is all original.

DIAL: Signed:  SOUTH BEND  .   This dial has large black hour numbers, outer 5 minute interval numbers in red, blued steel hands, and sub-seconds.  Needs a crystal.

CASE: Case is unusual because you have to unscrew the bezel, and the movement is hinged out through the front of the case.  Caseback has NO personal engraving and NO wear through spots. Signed:  PATENTED *) TRADE MARK 511 . 

SIZE:   58mm across.  83mm from top-to-bottom. 

MOVEMENT: Well made high grade antique mechanical movement. Signed:  THE STAR  COLUMBUS WATCH CO. COLUMBUS, OHIO  SAFETY PINION 311447 . 

CONDITION: This watch does not run. The balance is good and swings free. Needs cleaned and repaired as it has been sitting for a very long time.
