Description A lovely English antique early 19th Century Georgian solid sterling silver chamberstick by the silversmiths Taylor & Perry (1824 - 1849) in good condition and with full English silver hallmarks for London 1830. Beautiful quality with a naturalistic "leaf" design base and it has a scrolled silver handle and candle holder. There are no added personal engravings. Great item, complete with its old candle.

Measurements Measures approx 3 inches (76mm) x 2.9 inches (73mm) and is 1.75 inches (45mm) in height.

Date English antique Georgian solid sterling silver with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1830, (Gothic date letter "G"). Lovely clear struck silver marks, including the silver duty stamp of King George the Third and the silversmiths initials are "T & P" for Taylor & Perry (1824 - 1849). 
  
Condition Good condition with no splits or wear holes and no nasty knocks or dents, a very nice antique example and a genuine 194 years old. Beautiful naturalistic design and a lovely early date.
