Gibson ES125 TDC made in the USA and dated by the serial number 41536 to late 1961. The letters TDC stand for thinline, double pickups and cutaway. The back and sides are in cherry, the body is fully bound and the soundholes are painted red from new. The two pickups are working well and each has a volume and tone control plus there is a three-way pickup selector switch - all working and with a very good variation of sound. It holds its tuning extremely well - after a couple of years of not being played the tuning is still spot on!
It is an original guitar which was purchased from the States many years ago and has been looked after very well - The frets show minor wear, the neck is straight and there are very few marks at all all very minor. Photo six shows a tiny wear mark from rubbing and on the back are two or three small scratches which the camera cannot pick up. There is a small hole on one shoulder where the strap pin  was and this has been moved to the heel long before this guitar arrived in the UK.
Its a great playing guitar in a great condition and it comes with a period case which is possibly the original card one. It looks too deep for the guitar, but it is the type of case that may well have been used to ship the guitar in late 1961.
