The lens is in perfect working condition (accurate shutter speeds, aperture work properly, and smooth focus) with heavy cosmetic wear, especially where lens hoods and filters are usually mounted on. However, it does not affect the functionality of the lens at all, since it is only paint chipping.

Flashlight test shows that the glass is overall pretty clear. There is no fungus or haze, and the front element has minimal, if any, blemishes. There are some dust throughout the lens elements (typical for a lens this age), but they do not affect image quality. It has been tested on a Hasselblad 500 series camera.
