This is such a pretty cardigan straight out of the 1950s and perfect for everyday wear! The cardigan was originally knitted in a Double Knitting wool using No.5 and No.0  needles (No.0 needles were 5/16 ins. in size which is 7.93mm so use modern 8.00mm needles in it's place). Three sizes are offered for the knitter to knit, namely to fit a 32-36, 38-40 or 42-44 inch bust. A great item to add to your wardrobe.

MATERIALS:

Double Knitting wool 10 (13) (15) oz

1 pair of No.5 and No.0 needles (see above regards No.0 needles)

4 buttons

MEASUREMENTS: 

Bust- 32-36, 38-40 or 42-44 inches

Length from shoulder- 18 inches

Sleeve Seam- 18 inches 

TENSION: 

3 sts. =  1 inch.
