CarbonPro 100% 3K Carbon-Fiber Upper Replacement Shaft, for Minelab Equinox 600/800 (by Steve's Detector Rods)

CarbonPro's upper replacement shaft for the Minelab Equinox detector, features high-quality, 3K carbon-fiber shaft material.  The shaft is offered in the traditional black color pattern, is 35 1/2" long, weighs only 4.8 oz., and includes four arm-cuff adjustment holes (in the same positions as on the stock shaft), and the single hole that permits mounting of the handle/control-box assembly.  The upper shaft is fully compatible with EITHER the stock MINELAB lower rod, OR our matching CarbonPro carbon-fiber lower rods (not included in this listing).

Attachment of the lower rod is achieved via our premium-quality, heavy-duty, injection-molded cam locks -- simply by opening the clamping lever, sliding the lower rod into place, and then closing the clamp -- for secure, solid lower rod attachment.  Our cam locks also feature marine-grade 316 stainless-steel hardware to minimize corrosion, even in salt water environments, and they include a thumb-adjustment screw that allows the user full control over the clamping tension applied to the lower rod.

As a result of our high-quality cam lock, our shaft design eliminates the need for button holes in the shaft, allowing for quick, easy installation and removal of the lower rod, as well as unlimited lower rod adjustment length capability (as opposed to being confined to specific button-hole locations as on the stock shaft).

Assembly is quick and easy -- requiring only a 3mm Allen wrench (included with purchase).  Simply remove the arm cuff via the thumb screw, and the handle/control-box assembly via four Allen screws at the base of the handle, and then reassemble onto the CarbonPro shaft.

While new to the market, the foundation of our CarbonPro line of shafts rests upon several years of shaft-building experience at our parent company, Steve's Detector Rods.   These shafts represent growth from our small, hand-made custom shaft-building operation at "Steve's," into larger-scale, factory production.  While now producing shafts at larger scales, we remain faithful to our roots -- using the same tried-and-true designs, the same high-quality materials, and the same assembly techniques.  As a result, we can offer our high-quality aftermarket shafts, at very competitive prices.
