2 VINTAGE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

Lovely pair of vintage mercury glass Christmas tree ornaments - the red snowcap measures about 2-1/2" and the stencil measures 2" in size. Featuring a simple ball shape, both are decorated with applied silver mica - one a snowcap drip and the other a cozy cottage in the woods scene. Original metal cap of the larger is marked SHINY BRITE MADE IN USA - the smaller is marked COLUMBIA.

Dating 1950s-1970s, condition is very good with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, or damage - there is wear to the paint, especially on the smaller ornie base - does not detract a bit. Just a charming pair of ornies - fun addition to any holiday collection or Christmas tree display!
