Cream handknitted Aran wool cardigan size M/12–14

Lovely quality women’s aran  featuring intricate hand knitted aranwork.  Featuring no maker’s label, most likely handknitted, possibly vintage.  This aran would look great with cords or high waisted jeans or over a dress for the cottagecore look!  You can’t get any more ethical then a handknitted garment made by a hobbyist. This cardigan features intricate cable and ribbed stitching to the front, arms and back of the garment.

In excellent gently pre-worn condition, I think this cardigan was hand knitted and maybe worn only. It is in excellent condition.

Classic cream colour with cream tortoiseshell effect buttons.

No fabric label, I estimate this jumper to have been knitted from a wool and acrylic blend yarn. It has the chunky cosiness of wool but it is not as dense and as heavy as pure wool. Best of both.

No size label. Please refer to measurements and compare to a similar garment of your own before buying. I estimate this cardigan to be a UK size medium/12–14. I’m a 14 and it fits me perfectly. Please note due to the cardigan having a lot of ribbed stitches it does stretch for the perfect fit.

Design details include round neckline. Full length raglan sleeves. Ribbed hems. The back continues the same design as the front.

Measurements are as follows: length of the garment, from the nape of the neck to the bottom hem: 26 inches. Armpit to armpit measurement: 19 inches unstretched. Stretches to about 20.5 inches. Length of the arm, from the armpit seam to the cuff: 18 inches.
