I can't remember where I got this but I've had it for quite some time it's probably the coolest clock I've ever had but my wife thinks it's annoying so he must go anyways 1998 he swings his right arm back and forth as if he were throwing the bowling ball down the lane also in the upper left it has a clock with hour minute and a red hand for seconds also it has a single bowling pin on top when you push that down a little door closes and it will make the sound of a bowling ball hitting the pins and it is actually pretty loud the speaker in it I must say for a small as it is it has quite the sound out of the small speaker which is located on the flat base towards his left foot it is some sort of a sticker the background as you can see some of the sticker is lifting I'm sure you could get it to go back down or peel it off and re-glue it I'm not sure I've never had anyone complain about it it's a great conversation piece but I am saying that there is some spots as you can see in the pictures where there is some air bubbles for being so old where some of the adhesive has loss of it stickiness if you push it down with your thumb the air bubbles will go out of it but eventually it will creep back up it also has a three dimensional bowling ball return at the lower right hand corner as you can see it has numerous different spots for batteries the clock mechanism takes one double A battery then below that it takes another battery for his movement back and forth and then below on the bottom if you flip it upside down it takes two more double a batteries and that is what gives it the sound when you push down the bowling pin of the strike the clock still works as it should the sound still works as it should and his movement of his arm goes back and forth as it should the better the batteries obviously the louder the sound will be and the better his arm will move back and forth usually you just have to start it like a pendulum to get his arm to start going but once it goes you'll be able to tell because you can hear it like I said I'm 46 I've had many clocks throughout my life definitely by far this is the coolest one I have ever owned I do not believe there is an alarm clock on it as you can see from the picture there is two doors for the batteries the one is on the flat part on the back which covers up the clock mechanism and the other compartment for his arm movement when you flip it upside down that one is for the two batteries for the sound as shown the bigger back is still there but the bottom battery compartment is missing I do not know where it is other than that it's complete as far as I know now it doesn't have the original box or any kind of manuals but I believe the only thing missing from the clock is underneath the small battery compartment cover once again I believe that you wouldn't even need tape that the batteries would just stay in but I always just put a piece of tape on it once again it does not affect how the clock works it just simply holds in the batteries it is used it is from 1998 so it will so some signs of wear I have taken many pictures but in my opinion and it's definitely and very presentable condition and 100% it is definitely a conversation piece I have a price to sell quickly so you can add it to your home.
