This is an IPS backlit screen modded Game Boy Pocket in a high quality aftermarket FunnyPlaying clear red shell (the buttons and button pads as well as the motherboard are original). The console is in great condition (see pictures).

There is a touch function on the top right of the console that changes the color of the screen. Tap once to change the color, and tap and hold for a few seconds to toggle between a clean look and a more retro, “pixely” look.

Please be aware that due to this mod consuming more power than an unmodded Game Boy Pocket with an original screen, battery life on this unit may be less than on an unmodded unit. Additionally, some battery brands may supply less power than others, leading to less battery life or issues turning the system on. Duracell batteries and Eneloop batteries are brands proven to work very well on these units, among other brands.
