Vintage 1978 graded Kenner Star Wars Han Solo 12 back A, UNPUNCHED, small head version, AFA graded: 85/60/85, Archival 'UV protection' upgraded acrylic case.

This is a great example of the very 1st 1978 release (12back A) of Han Solo as a character, on a near flawless, clean cardback/unpunched as well! Figure and card both grade 85, the bubble- with 'waffle pattern' present around the bubble perimeter- is graded 60 due to some slight damage at the top of the bubble and what appears to be a small split/cut approximately an inch long at the very top, where the bubble meets the card (very difficult to see and photograph), and the 'blaster tape' only being attached on one end (tape is still adhered solidly at that the other end, and gun is firmly ensconced in the tape). The figure itself is a very nice example, clean paint applications, no 'frosting' present, and the footer is the early 'W' version in green. Acrylic case is in excellent, clean condition and it's the upgraded 'ultraviolet light protection' case, to prevent color fading and damage if exposed to UV indoor/outdoor light.

A very, very nice high-grade example of this legendary figure/character, and frankly, under-graded by AFA (10+ years ago) considering others out there in comparable condition- or worse -that have received higher bubble grades in the 70-80 range. I won't be bothered if I don't sell this, as I love it, but I'm currently funding some guitar/music recording endeavors and willing to part with Han to pursue this path.
