Coast taupe pink wool long Jacket coat size 16

Here we have an absolutely lovely quality smart coat, by coast. This coat was made in Turkey in the early 2000s, when the coast brand was at its very best. And it’s very difficult to find similar quality tailoring on the High Street now. The weight of this coat makes it ideal for wear throughout the year. It’s also a very timeless and flattering style, that should suit every figure.

This item was not worn, however it has been in a wardrobe for some time and there are some very minor condition issues as seen in the photos, from light surface wear, as this is a delicate faric item. But you’d have to look very thoroughly to notice these and they don’t detract from the appeal of this lovely jacket.

Labelled as a UK size 16. Please refer to measurements before buying as vintage sizes vary a lot.

Love the colour of this coat, which is a little hard to describe. But I think it is best described as a Rosie pink taupe. It would look especially good with light colours, such as pinks, blues and lilacs, as well as Grays, taupes and other smoky colours.

The outer fabric of this coat is made of 58% wool, 39% viscose, 3% elastin lightweight woven fabric. This is lined in a 50% viscose, 50% acetate fabric with pretty leaf pattern.

Design details include V neckline, with collar and pointed lapel. Four buttons at the front placket. Two faux pockets at thewaistline. The sleeves are full length, with concealed button at the cuff. As you can see in the pictures there are decorative trims to the lapels, pockets and cuffs. This coat has a typical fitted to the waist, and then flaring very gently to the bottom style, so it’s flattering on all figures. Measurements are as follows: shoulder to shoulder measurement 17 inches. Sleeve width at the armpit: 10 inches. Sleeve length from armpit to cuff 19 inches. Armpit to armpit measurement: 21 inches unstretched. Approximate waist measurement: about 19 inches. Garment length from the neck to the bottom: 43 inches.
