Bought new and used mainly for hobby bird photography. This is the SPORT version of this lens, originally worth $1900. It has much better optical and focus performance than the CONTEMPORARY version.
This lens is in great condition. Zoom and focus turn smoothly, all switches work, AF is perfect. Optical stabilization is smooth.
No mold, haze, damage on the elements. There are a few small surface scratches on the body of the lens, but these do not effect it's performance!
Recently sent to Sigma USA for a cleaning and focus calibration.
Mounts to full frame and crop sensor Nikon cameras.
