This is a pre-war O gauge electric engine from a smoke-free home/collection.  The body work is rough shape with some warping on the tinplate, faded paint, and missing bell and catenary pickup. This item was tested using a Lionel Type R transformer and found to be a fantastic runner with minimal stalling at start up, and proper free-flying idle gear for when power is disengaged. The gears and axles are lubricated.
