This lot contains an Elgin Men’s Model 556 YGF 17 Jewel Wristwatch. This movement is clean, winds, sets and ticks with brisk motion. The watch has a clean yellow gold-filled snap cover case. The case is 31 millimeters in diameter, 37mm from leg kip to lug chip and has a legal ID of 16mm. This watch does wind, step and tick with brisk motion. I did NOT test this watch for running longevity or timing accuracy. The watch does have a good stem, crown and yellow fine baton hands with yellow sub second hand. The crystal has a crack and must be changed. This is a good clean vintage men's Elgin mechanical wristwatch.
