What is a Toys R Us Exclusive?

The ERTL model car company was commissioned by Toys R US to produce special edition runs of 5000 model cars for each specific car, in a genuine factory color, which would be available only at Toys R Us stores. These model cars were part of the American Muscle Series, and carry a gold sticker on the plastic window which says "exclusive diecast color"
