Live at the Marquee was the first record release by Stray since their 1977 album Hearts of Fire, following which the band went on a hiatus. The line-up of Del Bromham (lead guitar), Pete Dyer (vocals), Gary Giles (bass) and Ritchie Cole (drums) reunited in 1983 to play a triumphant concert at The Marquee Club in London, featuring many Stray classics such as All in Your Mind, Suicide, One Night in Texas and Houdini. Unavailable on CD for over 15 years, this new reissue includes the bonus track Feel Like I’ve Been Here Before, recorded at the same concert, along with both sides of a rare 1979 solo single by Del Bromham: Who Do You Love and The Best Friend I Ever Had.
