This system includes the base station (intercom, answering machine, memo recorder), 2 handsets and a total of 3 remote charging bases with power supplies (wall warts) for everything. It was all working when removed although the batteries (2x NiMh AAA rechargeable) in the handsets were not holding a charge so were removed. Panasonic Eneloop or Ikea Lada cells are recommended. I don't have a manual, but it is available online. The base station can be wall mounted or set on a surface by rotating the base into the proper position.
