You will need to drill a hole in your pickguard, control plate, or body for this toggle. Or, if installing through body, you may need to carefully route through body. You should take to a guitar shop if you’ve never done so before and/or if you feel uncomfortable doing such a modification to your pick-guard or guitar body.
