In the parliamentary returns of the year 1614, the name of John Pym is to be found, as member for the borough of Calne.3 These were the returns of that addle parliament, which has been before described 4, and which, meeting according to their summons, such faces appeared there as made the court droop5 — among the new faces were those of Pym and Wentworth.
