Seeds were imported from Colombia. This is a tree that can grow up to 20 meters in height, or 60 feet tall. This is a specie that can fruit at a young age in a container, but should be planted in the ground at some point. The collector reports that it is a rare tree to see in the wild, as he only found a single tree on his expeditions. The fruit is of a very good size, brown when ripe, the shell of the fruit is hard and velvety. The flavor is reminiscent of condensed milk and caramel, and is highly sought after by the locals due to its fantastic flavor.
