Instalments on EBG: how they work

Phones bought on instalments

An EBG order can be paid in instalments exactly as it would be in a local shop — the only difference is that the product comes from eBay.

How it starts

You pick instalments as the payment method in the cart, choose a bank and a period, and are then taken to the bank's own page, where the application is filled in.

EBG never asks for, and never stores, an ID document, a proof of income or a signature. That is the bank's to collect, on the bank's page.

Who decides

The bank approves or refuses the application. We only read the answer its system gives us, so the timing is the bank's — usually a few hours.

After approval

  1. the bank pays for the order;
  2. the order reaches an operator and the item is bought on eBay;
  3. the monthly payment goes to the bank, not to EBG.
